Cookie policy

The short version
This website does not use advertising cookies. The only optional cookies are Google Analytics, and they are only set if you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you press Reject, or ignore the banner, Google Analytics never loads. The site works exactly the same either way.
Always on
- Visit counting. Vercel Web Analytics counts how many people view each page. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.
- Spam protection on the enquiry form. Cloudflare Turnstile checks the form is being sent by a person. It is strictly necessary to keep the form free of spam, so it does not need your consent. It only loads when you scroll down to the form.
- Your cookie choice, saved in your browser so we do not ask on every page.
Only if you accept: Google Analytics
Google Analytics shows us which pages people read and how many send an enquiry. Once you accept, it records the pages you view and how long you stay, the site that sent you here, your device type, browser and screen size, your approximate location (country or town, worked out from your IP address, which Google does not store), and a count when an enquiry is sent. That count says only that an enquiry was sent: never your name, email, phone number, files or message. Google signals and advertising features are switched off, so none of it is used for adverts or linked to your Google account. Lawful basis: your consent.
It sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_ followed by our measurement ID. They hold a random number so a return visit can be told apart from a new one, and last up to 2 years unless you clear them or withdraw consent. Reports are kept for no longer than 14 months. Google Analytics is run by Google Ireland Limited, and data may be processed in the United States under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Changing your mind
You can withdraw consent at any time. Google Analytics stops straight away and its cookies are deleted.
