What We Do
FBS Engineering North West Service Ltd provides specialist engineering, maintenance and fabrication services to the recycling, manufacturing and heavy industrial sectors.
We specialise in industrial machinery breakdown repairs, planned maintenance, shredder rotor replacements, trommel refurbishments, machinery installations and relocations. We also supply experienced welders, fabricators and mechanical fitters for planned shutdowns and major engineering projects.
Our fully equipped workshop offers in-house CNC plasma cutting, precision steel fabrication and welding, from individual replacement components to heavy-duty structural steelwork. We also manufacture and install steel frames, staircases, platforms and safety railings, alongside bespoke shipping container conversions.
Based in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, we support businesses throughout the UK and internationally, with projects successfully completed in Mexico and Saudi Arabia.
From emergency breakdowns to complete machinery installations, FBS Engineering delivers practical, reliable engineering solutions that keep industry moving.

FBS Engineering is fully insured and committed to maintaining high standards of quality, safety and workmanship. We are currently working towards BS EN 1090 Execution Class 2 for structural steelwork and ISO 9001 certification for quality management, with accreditation details to be updated upon successful certification.
