We are working towards two standards. BS EN 1090 Execution Class 2 covers structural steel: it is the standard that lets fabricated steelwork carry a UKCA or CE mark for use in buildings and structures. ISO 9001 covers how a business is run, from taking an enquiry to checking the finished job.
For customers, both mean the same thing: work that is planned, checked and recorded the same way every time, with the paperwork to show it.
